Erica Hickey is a writer, fly angler, and palliative care nurse practitioner. She writes creative non-fiction about her experiences fly fishing. Her work has been published in TROUT Magazine, The FlyFish Journal, DUN Magazine, Anglers Journal, and Wisconsin Trout. She lives in Colorado with her husband, her daughter, her mom, and her cat. When she is not on the river, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, geeky card games, playing guitar, fly tying, and making bamboo fly rods.
